Job summary

Wurth Louis and Company (WLAC) is seeking a Driver II in Denver, CO. This role involves local deliveries with home nightly, using a Class C or B license; pay starts at $27-$28 per hour and may be higher for applicants with a Class B license and endorsements.

The position includes driving and warehouse duties, loading/unloading, route planning, safety compliance, and customer communication to ensure accurate deliveries and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Delivers superior customer service.
• Able to read a map and accurately plan a route.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact.
• Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
• Recognizes and understands product numbers and alpha/numeric codes.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations (Class B License).
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Operates forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered on time.
• Prepare truck for operation and oversee loading, securing items and paperwork.
• Inspect truck components for safe operation and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain communication with the company during deliveries and report discrepancies.
• Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders and collect customer feedback.
• Inform customers of new products and services to increase satisfaction and sales.
• Maintain truck maintenance records and ensure safety/quality compliance.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment as required.
• Assist in warehouse tasks and basic shipping/receiving paperwork.
