Job summary

Viking Electric in Duluth, MN is seeking a full-time Driver to deliver electrical products to customers. This role starts at 4am with local routes and home every night, requiring a Class B CDL and the ability to lift up to 85 pounds.

You will perform vehicle inspections, load shipments, and unload items while building strong customer relationships and following safety procedures. Training is provided, with growth opportunities within Sonepar.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license - Class B CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
