Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Moline, IL is seeking a delivery driver to support our customer-first service model. You will drive to multiple stops daily, handle freight, complete paperwork, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), and a clean driving record. You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required and English literacy is essential.
Two years of driving experience or completion of Truck Driving School; must hold a valid Class B CDL.
Must be 21 years or older and able to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers with an average of 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.

What makes you great

You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class B CDL
This role requires you to be 21 years or older
You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required
