Job summary

Airgas in Elmira, NY is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) for a Monday–Friday day shift, with an hourly rate of $30.68. You will deliver chemicals and related products locally, maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and lift 25–75 lbs (occasionally more).

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift >100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks.

Are you a MATCH?

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class B or better CDL.
• Must have HAZMAT endorsement.
• Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Experience
• Touch freight delivery experience
