Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a truck driver in Michigan to deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork efficiently. You will count quantities, complete hazmat papers, and perform DOT-required pre- and post-trip inspections.

You must ensure vehicle maintenance, maintain safe driving practices, and build strong relationships with customers while learning how Linde operates to support growth and service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and older.
• Two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Possess valid Class A or B CDL and hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass DOT physical and medical certificate.
• No preventable accidents, suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10–12 stops per day, touching freight and handling paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously learn how Linde operates to support company growth.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing

What makes you great

• You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required
