Job summary

Linde plc. is hiring a CDL driver in El Paso, TX. You will drive, deliver, and collect freight to and from customers while maintaining documentation and safety. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip checks, remain compliant with hazmat rules, and contribute to a low-incident record.

The role requires a valid CDL, hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain within 60 days), and at least two years of driving experience. Physical stamina is essential for lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or Truck Driving School certification.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement or able to obtain within 60 days.
• 21 years or older.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Able to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Able to push/pull/move/lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
• Count and record quantities and styles delivered and picked up accurately.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.
• Learn and apply Linde’s business practices to support growth.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing

What makes you great

• You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required
