Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a driver to deliver products to customers with careful handling of freight and paperwork. You will count items, record quantities, and ensure hazardous material papers meet DOT regulations.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL A or B, hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), and a clean two-year driving record. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and readiness to undergo a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Hazmat endorsement required or within 60 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork.
• Accurately count and record delivered and picked up quantities and styles.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify maintenance needs and report for timely vehicle repairs.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde's business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing, plus other duties as assigned

What makes you great

• You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required
