Job summary

Professional Contractor Supply is hiring a Driver Associate for our Hayward, CA distribution facility. The driver will operate a company-owned delivery truck to deliver materials to customers in the local area, load and unload merchandise, and support general warehouse tasks.

Isuzu 16-foot stake beds; Class C license is acceptable with helpful experience. We offer competitive wages and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, PTO, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years driving experience with 16 ft trucks, forklifts and man lifts.
• Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay area and ability to read directions and use street maps to plot routes.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs to load and deliver packages.
• Proficient in computer and general internet usage.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• May work some Saturdays for inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned delivery truck to deliver materials to customers within the local area.
• Load and unload merchandise and assist with general warehouse duties.
• Follow assigned scheduling and routing; deliver in a timely manner.
• Maintain vehicle in a neat and clean condition and report mechanical issues.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Obtain signatures on delivery/pickup invoices and ensure accurate paperwork.
