Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Clarkston, GA is seeking a hard-working Delivery Driver to join our HVACR equipment distribution team. In this full-time, non-exempt role you will safely operate delivery trucks, load and unload products, and ensure on-time deliveries to customer sites.

You will maintain vehicles, complete delivery records, and uphold professionalism with customers and coworkers. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT physical are required; forklift operation eligibility begins

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Satisfactory, safe driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate, load, and unloaddelivery trucks.
• Deliver products to customer locations efficiently and on time.
• Maintain vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.
• Complete delivery records accurately.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with coworkers and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in reading maps/directions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintainDOT physical card upon hire.
• Satisfactory, safedriving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift.
• Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday shifts.

Work Environment:Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.

Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required and must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.
