Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Delivery Driver in Christiansburg, VA to perform safe, timely deliveries and maintain vehicle readiness. You will load and unload, document deliveries, and interact professionally with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a full-time, non-exempt schedule, with a Monday–Friday routine and occasional Saturday shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k), and paid holidays and time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card upon hire.
• Satisfactory, safe driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift.
• Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, and unloaddelivery trucks.
• Deliver products to customer locations efficiently and on time.
• Maintain vehicles with proper fluids and cleanliness.
• Complete delivery records accurately.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with coworkers and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading maps/directions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions

Requirements
