Location: Cheyenne, WY - Cleveland

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the "face of Airgas," the Local Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. The driver loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with customers.

At Airgas, you will be part of a professional team that encourages internal mobility and offers a good work/life balance. Our modern fleet is equipped with driver-friendly technology, including On Board Computers, collision avoidance tech, cameras, and GPS.

Position Title: LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, local deliveries. Home Daily!

Requirements: Straight Truck - Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement (can be obtained after offer).

In particular, you will:

• Drive trucks over established routes to deliver and sell products.
• Perform non-route deliveries as needed.
• Record sales and delivery information.
• Resolve service complaints and issue sales promotion materials.
• Collect empty containers and rejected merchandise.
• Obtain customer signatures for receipts.
• Perform vehicle inspections and document deficiencies.
• Follow all company policies and DOT requirements.
• Assist inside the retail branch with customer service.
• Attend safety meetings and assist with other duties as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• One year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or graduated from an accredited driving school.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Hazmat can be obtained post-offer).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Current Medical Examiner's Card.
• Ability to read MSDS sheets.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs regularly and over 125 lbs with equipment.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and occasionally work overtime.
