Job summary

Bulkmatic Transport Company is seeking drivers for primarily local work with guaranteed routes and strong earnings potential. You will drive tractor-trailer units and perform loading, unloading, and customer interactions on a daily basis.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A with at least one year of recent experience, a clean driving record, and FMCSA medical qualification. Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms for overnight stays and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Must be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and have FMCSA medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Primarily local driving; two-thirds of time driving.
• Assist with loading/unloading and handling pneumatic systems.
• Interact with customers and maintain safety standards on the road.

• Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading, using the pneumatic systems, and interacting with customers.

• Be at least 23 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience. Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
• Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
• Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
• You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
• Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely

Truck Driver Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying- hoses up to 50 lbs in weight
• Climbing in/out of tractor, on top of trailers and railcars
• Pushing and pulling
• Bending and crouching
• Walking and standing
• Sitting for up to 11 hours daily
• Outside work in various weather conditions
