Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a courier to operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages and to ensure compliance with FedEx service standards. The role involves route coverage within the station's service area and providing courteous customer service.

You will be responsible for handling shipments, communicating with customers, and adhering to FMCSA regulations. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with preference for 6 months courier

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for navigation and directions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload packages with equipment or assistance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Provide coverage for assigned routes within the station’s service area.
• Perform related customer service functions as needed.
