Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick-up packages with courteous, efficient service in the Duluth area. You will check shipments for conformance, provide related customer service, and drive vehicles not regulated by FMCSA 391. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and 21+ years old with proficient English to read signs and follow directions in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
