Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of FMCSA.
• Requires medical exam per FMCSA/FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Age at least 21.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand signs and directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages with courtesy and efficiency.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
