Job summary

FedEx Logistics in New York's Inwood area seeks a courier to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages, and ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards. You will cover routes within your station's service area and provide related customer service.

Candidates should meet education and physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining a good driving record. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; six months of courier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and communication.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance.
• Excellent courier methods, adaptability, dependability, and good verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check shipments for FedEx service conformance.
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Perform related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.
