Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift on a 3x12 hour schedule. The FirstChoice program offers premium compensation and flexible staffing across multiple hospital locations within the Trinity Health system.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure, 18+ months in Med Surg/Tele/PCU and 2+ years in other specialties, with required credentials (ACLS/TNCC/PALS/BLS). Travel opportunities and daily pay are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18+ months of recent Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience.
• 2+ years of recent experience for other specialties (CC, OR, Maternity, ED, Behavioral Health).
• Credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, PALS) per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and across locations/regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse practice settings.

Position Purpose

What you will do

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area ( ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc ). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
