Job summary

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a Yakima, Washington assignment. The role targets a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts under a local contract arrangement.

The Pharmacist will review prescriptions, manage medication stocking and labeling, assist customers, and provide basic clinical services. A current pharmacist license and WA eligibility are required, with benefits including health insurance and travel stipends.

Responsibilities

• Review and process physician prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Organize the pharmacy to enable quick product identification.
• Maintain control of medication delivery, stocking, labeling and monitoring conditions.
• Assist customers with questions and guidance on medications and services.
• Provide injections and basic health services as needed.
• Prepare medications with correct dosages for patients.
• Keep patient histories and activity records up to date.

Stability Healthcare is looking for a Pharmacist Allied contract position in Yakima, WA.

• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
• Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
• Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
• Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
• Provide assistance other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
• Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
• Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication
• Keep abreast of advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures
