Talent4Health is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week local contract in Temple, Texas. The Pharmacist will oversee medication distribution, ensure medication safety, monitor drug therapy, maintain inventory, and support clinical teams in delivering quality patient care.

Schedule includes day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week, with every third weekend coverage and holiday requirements. Minimum 2 years hospital experience and TX license are required.

• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current, active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Successful completion of all educational requirements mandated for state licensure.
• BLS certification if required by the state.

Responsabilidades

• Review, interpret, prepare, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately.
• Maintain adequate medication inventory and procure medications according to established procedures.
• Prepare, sterilize, and label parenteral medications and solutions in accordance with applicable standards.
• Monitor medication expiration dates, recalls, and emergency drug supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, controlled substances, billing, and inventory.
• Monitor patient drug therapy for contraindications, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
• Identify and report suspected adverse drug reactions.
• Provide clinical consultation and medication-related guidance to healthcare practitioners.
• Educate patients about medications and discharge medication instructions.
• Participate in medication-use reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities.
• Conduct inspections of pharmacy areas and patient care locations where medications are stored or administered.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
