Job summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Oncology for a local contract nursing job in Frederick, Maryland. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Oncology experience, including Acute Care and outpatient care.

The role involves providing nursing care for 36 hours a week in a D/N rotating shift setup. Excellent communication and venipuncture skills are required, along with valid Maryland RN licence and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Oncology Outpatient Infusion RN needed for 8 weeks to start ASAP. Shifts are D/N rotating 12am-12pm. RN must be a seasoned traveler. Rotating weekends, no call, no holiday. Proficient in Meditech.
• Minimum 5 years Oncology experience. Required: 5 years experience in an Acute Care setting, at least one year outpatient experience in ambulatory care, infusion center preferred. Excellent venipuncture skills.
• CPR Certification. Recent health assessment (2PPD within last 12 months). Copy of valid Maryland RN licence.
• Excellent communication skills, computer skills, ability to provide patient education.
• Oncology experience preferred; OCN certification preferred.
• Copy of CPR, BLS, ACLS as required by position Stroke Cert.
