Job summary

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Start date is 10/05/2026, for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700) and a 1:5-6 patient ratio. Benefits available day 1; nurses may float across Med Surg units and participate in every other weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• 2 years med/surg experience required.
• Weekend rotation every other week.
• On‑call: No call; holidays every other major holiday.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Float between units as needed to cover staffing.
• Maintain 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio during shifts.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe patient care.
