Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a local contract nurse RN Dialysis for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. Start date 09/28/2026, 40 hours per week, days shift.

This role requires at least 2 years in an acute care setting, valid RN license in Arizona, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. CDN or CNN preferred. TRA offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, holiday pay, and contract security.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 2 years in an Acute Care Setting

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

• - (RN) license in the state of practice.
• - Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis or nephrology nursing (acute or chronic dialysis experience preferred).
• - BLS and ACLS certification required - American Heart Association . Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• - Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) preferred.

Qualifications

• - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for dialysis patients.
• - Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• - Monitor patients for complications during dialysis treatments and respond promptly to adverse reactions.
• - Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• - Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments.
• - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and dialysis records.
• - Operate and maintain dialysis machines and related equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
• - Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.
• - Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families during treatment.
• - Stay current with best practices and advancements in nephrology nursing.
• - Proficiency in operating dialysis machines and understanding of dialysis procedures.
• - Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• - Excellent patient assessment and clinical skills.
