Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a Delivery Driver in Virginia to operate company trucks up to 26 feet, perform inspections, deliver materials to job sites, and provide courteous service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license (class appropriate) required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Works well in a team.
• Leadership may be required to direct and supervise within the department.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles (up to 26’ trucks), including flatbeds, moffett s, cube vans, and boom trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Deliver building materials to job sites on time, unload and verify deliveries, and provide courteous customer service.
• Inspect and secure truck loads before departure and ensure materials are staged per customer instructions.
• Possess basic knowledge of building materials, forklift operation, and delivery equipment.
• Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained.
• Communicate operational challenges and improvement ideas to the manager.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed to support operational goals.
• Must attend and participate in all required meetings.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
