Job summary

Goodwill of Silicon Valley is seeking a full-time driver to support transportation operations at the San Jose facility. You will drive a bobtail truck, load and unload donations, and execute routing plans and paperwork with accuracy and safety.

Require a valid California Class C license, a good driving record, and at least six months of bobtail driving experience. English proficiency is essential for daily coordination and communications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the English language.
• Valid California class C driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Minimum six months experience driving Bobtail trucks; knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Efficient routing of scheduled stops and accurate completion of trip sheets and shipping documents.
• Unload trucks using material handling equipment and move items to designated areas in stores.
• Load trucks for delivery to stores and packs donations for transport to the plant.
• Ensure safety and security of loads and perform daily safety checks.
