Job summary
CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Class B Route Delivery Driver in New Castle, CO. You will operate company vehicles to safely move freight on defined schedules, unload and reload as needed, and complete required government and company paperwork.
The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and customer service. Local daily routes and a competitive hourly wage with a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered, along with benefits and a pre-employment assessment.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B required or equivalent license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience.
- No DUI/DWI in past 3 years.
- No more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them (renewals reimbursed).
- Successful completion of pre-employment skills assessment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver/pick up freight to/from customer locations or terminal as directed by dispatch.
- Ensure shipping documents are ready for DOT inspections and paperwork is complete.
- Load/unload freight with/without mechanical aids as required.
