Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Amherst, NH is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver for a local home daily route. Starting around 6:00–7:00 AM, you will work 40–45 hours weekly with no weekend shifts and get paid weekly at $29.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Minimum age 21 years.
Pass Ryder drug test.
Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Provide CDL and endorsements for the position.
Class A or Class B verifiable tractor trailer experience.
9 months experience in past 3 years OR 2 years past 5 years OR 5 years past 10 years.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
Performs other duties as assigned.
