Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a Local Class B CDL Driver in Pineville, NC to support last-mile foodservice deliveries on local routes. Expect night shifts, weekends, and a touch-freight profile with regular interaction with dispatch.

You will operate a tractor-trailer, ensure safe delivery, and maintain DOT logs and paperwork while upholding safety and customer service standards as part of a nationwide logistics network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license with DOT medical card.
• 2+ years of Box Truck driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Strong customer service and clear communication with dispatch and stores.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.
• DOT regulations compliant and fluent in reading/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes – no layovers.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (touch-freight).
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit paperwork accurately.

Local Class B CDL Driver – Pineville, NC

In This Role, You’ll:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is atouch-freightrole
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveriesare in compliance

What You’ll Bring:

• ValidClass B Driverw/current DOT medical card and at least 2+ yearsof Box Truckdriving experience infood service orbeveragedelivery.
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting:

• Class B Dispatches: Monday - Saturday: 11:00pm-5:00am
• Must be available fornights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped withliftgates-no ramps
• Touchfreight- withrepetitive lifting75+lbs
