Sonsray moves mountains for the construction, transportation, and agricultural sectors. We are seeking a Class A Driver in Phoenix, AZ to safely transport and deliver heavy equipment and materials, ensuring loads are secured and routes comply with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission (18 speed) endorsement and current medical card.
• Local Class A driving and flatbed hauling experience.
• Ability to maintain DOT compliance and meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Complete walk around inspections and submit daily.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and secure loads per regulations.
• Coordinate route instructions from dispatch and obtain oversize/weight permits as needed.
• Maintain driver logs and report any vehicle defects or incidents promptly.
• Secure cargo with restraints and ensure it is loaded safely for transport.
• Drive tractor-trailer combinations over 26,001 GVRW to transport goods.
• Assist with shop/yard duties and provide maintenance support when required.
