Job summary

J Rose Enterprises in Shafter, CA is seeking a Local CDL-A driver to operate late-model automatic tractors hauling dry van and reefer units. This 100% no-touch, home-time-every-day role covers 2–3 stops per shift across Southern California with DC backhauls.

Expect a 5-day work week with weekend availability and afternoon/evening dispatch (15:00–21:00). Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A experience
• Live within 50 miles of Shafter, CA
• Must pass DOT drug screening and background checks

Responsibilities

• Operate late-model automatic tractors pulling dry van and reefer units at the Shafter terminal
• Deliver 2–3 stops per shift across Southern California with DC backhauls
• Perform 100% no-touch store deliveries
• Follow dispatch window (afternoon/evening) 15:00–21:00
• Maintain a 5-day work week with weekend availability and two consecutive days off
