Staffmark is hiring a Class A Driver for local routes in Bloomfield, CT. The role offers local driving with a focus on safety, reliability, and excellent service. Pay is $32.00 per hour, with a schedule from 12 AM to 10 AM, Thursday through Monday.

This position emphasizes safe driving, DOT compliance, and strong customer service, with eligibility for comprehensive benefits and weekly pay. CDL required and DOT medical certificate as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CDL required.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on local routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Transport freight safely while following DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and communicate with dispatch.
• Secure freight and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle refrigerated trailers, lift gates, and pallet drops.
