Job summary

Medline Industries seeks a skilled Class A CDL driver for our MedTrans private fleet. The Driver will operate a tractor-trailer on local routes, load and unload products, and deliver to commercial and residential customers while building strong relationships through timely, accurate service.

You will communicate with dispatch to adjust routes, maintain logs per regulations, and perform thorough vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL; license to operate assigned vehicle.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers – addressing questions and providing documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.

Job SummaryMedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
