Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking a Dedicated Local Truck Driver for the Allentown and Lehigh Valley area. You will haul container traffic locally, enjoy home daily, and receive weekly pay with additional stop pay.

Qualifications

You'll be hauling container transport across the local region, meaning you get a highly stable routine and get to sleep in your own bed every single night.

Your Daily Runs & Schedule

• Home Time: 100% home daily - finish your shift and head straight back to your own bed.
• The Route: Pull local containers across the region, logging around 1,800 miles a week.
• Freight Handling: 100% no-touch freight; it's just a mix of drop-and-hooks and live loads/unloads.
• Work Days: Choose between a Sunday-Thursday or a Tuesday-Saturday schedule (weekend work is standard).
• Shifts: Both day and night shift slots are available, so you'll need some flexibility.
• Holidays: You only work a holiday if it lands on one of your normally scheduled dispatch days.

What It Takes to Qualify

• Where You Live: You must live within 50 miles of our regional dispatch locations, which include surrounding areas near Allentown, Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, or Berks County.
• Experience Level: This specific seat is reserved for solo, experienced drivers. You must have:
  • At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, OR
  • At least 12 months of experience within the last 5 years.
  • Please note: We cannot accept trainees or team drivers on this account.
• Credentials: A valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card. No specialized endorsements are required for this run.
• Background & Safety: You need a solid driving and work history, and must be able to pass a standard pre-employment drug screen.
