Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Local Class A CDL Shuttle Doubles DOT driver for Corpus Christi, TX, operating nights to shuttle loaded trailers to the depot and return empties.

You must maintain delivery windows, communicate issues promptly, and follow safety standards while representing the company with professionalism. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, and a High School

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years.
• Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
• Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Immediately communicate problems with supervisor.
• Follow the company’s safety standards.

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return Maintain delivery time windows Immediately communicate problems with supervisor Perform duties by following the company’s safety standards Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.

**This is a Nights position for our Corpus Christi, TX location

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three (3) years.
• Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL driver’s license with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate/drive a single axle with 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft., trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED – Work experience may be substituted for education.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
