Metal Roofing Systems in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Class A CDL Driver to transport inventory and manage delivery routes within a 150-mile radius. You will inspect loads, complete paperwork, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a clean driving record, 1+ year truck experience, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A driver's license required.
• 1+ years' experience with tractor-trailer driving.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test required.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform all duties.
• Able to operate GPS, electric lift, hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Disciplined, dependable and flexible; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive delivery vehicle per company regulations and laws.
• Drive GVW >26,000 lbs trucks and tow heavy loads as needed.
• Ensure proper securing of contents and accuracy of shipments.
• Unload goods safely at destinations and obtain client signatures.
• Maintain logs and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Keep the vehicle serviced (refuel, oil, tires) and on schedule.
• Notify managers of major maintenance or delivery issues.
• Adhere to DOT safety practices and keep a clean workspace.
