Job summary

MCG Tran is seeking a driver to deliver auto parts to dealerships across Illinois and Wisconsin. The role involves multi-stop routes, meeting relay drivers at the first stop, unloading, and then returning empty trailers to Whitestown, IN. Trailers are pre-loaded and trailers are 53-foot lift gate units.

Unloading is performed with a lift gate and electric pallet jack; some returns must be loaded by the driver. Uniforms are provided and steel-toe boots are reimbursed up to $75 yearly.

Position Details:

• Delivering auto parts to dealerships.
• Majority of loads are multi stop delivery throughout IL and WI.
• Expectation is to run all routes. Each week there will be a mix of routes.
• Will meet the relay driver at the first stop - unload product - hook up to the loaded trailer and the relay driver will take the empty back to Whitestown, IN.
• Trailers are pre-loaded.
• Unloading required with the use of a lift gate and an electric pallet jack.
• There are times when the dealership will have returns, and these will need to be loaded by the driver with an electric pallet jack.
• Average stop time is 25 - 30 minutes.
• Most or all deliveries will be unattended.
• Safety and on-time service is an absolute priority.

Additional Information:

• Uniforms will be provided and must be worn.
• Steel toe boots are required. Account will reimburse up to $75 yearly for the boots.
• Freightliner trucks with 53-foot lift gate trailers.
• Trucks can be taken home
• Assigned equipment (will only slip seat for maintenance reasons)
