Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. seeks a Short Haul Driver to operate a Class A tractor-trailer on local routes, delivering to warehouses and customers with no-touch loads.

You will maintain DOT logs, complete paperwork, and ensure safety and on-time deliveries from the home base within an established territory. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits including health, prescription coverage, 401(k) with matching, paid holidays and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A with proper endorsements.
• No more than 4 moving violations in 36 months.
• Two years of tractor/trailer experience.
• Meet Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications (FMCSR).
• Ability to perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up containers/trailers at local warehouses and customer locations.
• Maintains DOT vehicle logs and required paperwork.
• Ensures safe and timely deliveries within local routes (less than 150 miles).
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and reports issues promptly.
• Handles billing/document processing as needed.
