Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. seeks a reliable Class A CDL driver for local bread delivery in the Knoxville, TN area. You will operate a Day Cab with a 53′ trailer, make multiple local deliveries, and ensure safe handling of bread products. Weekly pay and home daily are provided.

OT applies after 40 hours; schedules vary with weekends included. The role requires 23+ years old, 24+ months CDL-A experience, and DOT/compliance checks. Training and good equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 24 months of verifiable CDL A experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Experience operating 53′ dry van trailers preferred.
• Comfortable performing light touch freight deliveries.
• Ability to unload bread and bun products at customer locations.
• Ability to work weekends as part of the scheduled route rotation.
• No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 48 months.
• Must pass a DOT Drug Screen, Physical, and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Earn $26.00/HR with OT after 40 hours.
• Paid Weekly | Good Equipment | Home Daily
• Full-time Class A CDL position
• Various schedules, Tuesday/Thursday Off, Tuesday/Friday Off, Local Monday, Layover Wednesday & Thursday!
• Average 9-10 hour shifts
• Operate a Day Cab pulling a 53′ Dry Van Trailer to move trailers on the yard
• Make local deliveries throughout the Knoxville, TN area
• Deliver bread and bun products to customer locations safely and efficiently
• Assist with unloading bread and buns at delivery locations as needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT compliance
