Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Clarksville, TN, with a local home-daily schedule and day cab tractors. The role includes delivering auto parts with no touch freight on routes to IN, KY, OH, and MS.

Drivers earn $1,280+ per week, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus at 30 days and another $1,000 at 90 days, plus a $2,000 year-one shutdown bonus and quarterly safety bonuses. Benefits, paid time off from day one, and company-wide opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months/2 years/5 years depending on period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records/logs.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer or assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
