Teufel-Landscape in the Greater Seattle area is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to support local nursery and landscape operations. This home-daily role involves transport, loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materials, with a focus on safety and DOT compliance.

The ideal candidate works independently with dispatch and operations, maintains logs, performs pre/post trips, and handles basic trailer maintenance.

Qualifications

• Washington Class A CDL with clean driving record required.
• Must pass background check, DOT drug screen, and physical.
• Experience driving manual transmission trucks required.
• Experience loading, unloading, and securing equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and driver logs required.
• Physically able to climb in/out of trailers.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local routes in the Seattle metro area.
• Haul single and double trailers including flatbeds, end dumps, lowboys, and roll-offs.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials with straps and tie-downs.
• Assist with tailgating and unloading nursery stock as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily driver logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and yard personnel.
• Perform light maintenance and basic trailer/vehicle checks.
• Keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Follow company safety policies and traffic laws.
