Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) in La Puente, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our local delivery team. You will drive an EV tractor-trailer on local routes, deliver food products to restaurant customers, and return home daily.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch and store teams.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation).
• Union experience preferred (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer on local routes, solo.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (touch-freight).
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members.
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.
