Job summary

Penske, a national leader in logistics, is hiring full-time CDL Class A truck drivers for local routes in Washington (Lacey area). You will deliver palletized grocery freight within WA and OR, using Penske equipment designed for comfort and safety, with home daily schedules and a generous benefits plan.

Earn $33.75 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and driver referral bonuses up to $5,000 per referral.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and domicile in the U.S.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations and safety guidelines
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• English language proficiency per federal law
• Background check and drug screening required
• Role classified as safety sensitive under DOT

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized grocery freight throughout WA and OR
• Light-touch freight to end of trailer with electric pallet jack, no hand unload
• Home daily
• Operate Penske trucks with in-cab cameras for safety
