Job summary

Ryder in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local, home-daily routes. Earn weekly pay with a starting rate of $28.50 per hour and $0.70 per mile, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus at 30 days and $1,500 at 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with endorsements as required.
• 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards; maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as needed by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
