Job summary

Contract Lumber in Social Circle, Georgia is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible). The position offers 40 hrs/week with overtime when needed and a pay range of $22-26/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities include loading, securing, and delivering material; vehicle inspections to DOT standards; checking loads for accuracy; ensuring loads are safely secured before leaving yard or job site; and clear communication with employees, leadership, and customers.

Qualifications

• CDL A License required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for inspections.
• Willingness to work flexible first shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material to customers.
• Perform inspections of delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Check load for accuracy before departure.
