You'll move containers between rail ramps, customer locations, and other assigned facilities throughout the Jersey City and North Jersey market.

This role follows a Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Drivers should be comfortable navigating city traffic, rail yards, customer facilities, and the day-to-day changes that come with intermodal work.

Pay and Schedule

• Estimated weekly earnings: $1,538
• Daily home time
• Tuesday–Saturday schedule

• Full‑time local intermodal position
• Communicate delays, rail issues, equipment concerns, and load‑status changes as they occur

Route and Freight

• Route based near Jersey City, NJ
• Local intermodal container freight
• Work may include rail‑ramp activity, customer stops, live loads, live unloads, and other assigned intermodal duties
• Route timing may change based on rail volume, customer appointments, traffic, weather, and container availability
• Drivers should be comfortable navigating the Jersey City and North Jersey market and working around rail‑ramp schedules

Equipment and Work Environment

• Intermodal equipment
• Local driving through city traffic, rail yards, customer facilities, and ramp areas
• Inspect equipment, follow site procedures, and operate safely through congested locations

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 6 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience
• Must live within 75 miles of Jersey City, NJ
• Must be available for the Tuesday–Saturday schedule
• Must meet all carrier, safety, and qualification requirements
