Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver to deliver building materials in the Boise area. The role emphasizes safety, on-time deliveries, and excellent customer service. Drivers are home most weeknights with weekends off and may perform forklift duties with training.

The position requires a Class A CDL, a valid medical certificate, and prior safe driving experience. Overtime and occasional overnight runs may apply depending on routes and weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with current medical certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of safe commercial driving experience.
• Double/triple trailer endorsement may be required in states that permit pulling doubles/triples.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building products to local customers via tractor and trailer, adhering to DOT/state/federal regulations and safety policies.
• Follow planned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency.
• Load securement and assisting customers with unloading as needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance; report issues to dispatch.
