Job summary

GLP Transit in Akron, OH seeks a dedicated CDL driver to deliver lubricant bulk products to customer sites on local routes, with home daily. The role requires adherence to all safety policies and DOT guidelines while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and coordinating with departments to meet customer needs. Occasional travel may occur and duties in warehouse tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A or B
• Must possess tanker endorsement
• Driving record meets company standards and insurance eligibility
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test per federal regulations
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA medical qualification requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver lubricants to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies
• Maintain truck logs and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections as required
• Communicate customer needs to appropriate departments for follow-up
• Perform duties until route completion with occasional out-of-town travel
• Contribute to warehouse and driving tasks as assigned
