Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses in the Madison area. You’ll be home nightly on local routes, upholding safety, quality, and integrity in every delivery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and compliance with DOT standards. Training is provided, with opportunities for seasonal bonuses and participation in an ESOP and 401(k) benefits. Home evenings and competitive pay accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
