Job summary

Ferrellgas, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You’ll be on local routes and home each night, upholding safety and customer service as the face of the company.

As a safety-minded professional, you’ll perform pre-trip inspections, log deliveries, and respond to customer questions about propane safety and accounts. Prior driving experience is preferred and a valid CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record and safe driving history.
• Comfort delivering propane to varied customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
