Job summary

SRS Building Products in Simi Valley is seeking a CDL Driver to safely and timely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, inspect deliveries, and coordinate with customers on site. The role requires a valid CDL A or B with air brakes, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and clean driving record.

Training will cover safety, inventory control, and on-site customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Requires experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts safely.
• Must communicate effectively in English, be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations with no overnight travel.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Coordinate with customers on material placement and document deliveries with photos per policy.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
