Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Local CDL Driver to safely drive and deliver customer materials within a 100-mile radius from the plant. You will load/unload, assist in the warehouse, and ensure compliance with DOT safety rules.

This role is safety sensitive; requires a valid CDL A or B, proficiency in English, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a forklift if needed. Monday–Friday schedule with local deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Safety-conscious with good driving history
• Ability to operate a forklift if required

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company truck for deliveries within a 100-mile radius
• Load and unload materials and secure loads
• Assist in warehouse as needed
• Follow DOT safety rules and internal policies
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logbook entries
• Maintain truck cleanliness and report issues promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned
